They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but nobody says it has to be difficult! After all, who wants to leave their warm, cozy bed 45 minutes early just to make breakfast?

For anyone who prefers to sleep in, convenience foods are an easy answer. Unfortunately, not always vegan-friendly.  But luckily, more and more companies are offering cruelty-free, comfort food-inspired morning meal options.

To make your AM’s easier, here are three easy vegan breakfast options you can make in five minutes or less:

Gardein’s Eggless Scramble Pockets
Everyone loves an egg, cheese, and sausage mash-up … except chickens, cows, and pigs, that is. The good news is, you can help animals and eat a delicious breakfast sammie too! Gardein’s new vegan egg, cheese, and sausage pockets are animal-free and cook in just three minutes, and they’re so tasty, even your veggie-averse roommate will want one.

Sweet Earth’s Farmstand Breakfast Sandwich
This conscious company offers an all-vegan breakfast sandwich topped with “harmless ham” and a chickpea patty. In addition to the “meat” and “egg,” the snack is topped with a sun-dried tomato spread and sits on whole wheat, oat bran flax-bread. Just 80 seconds in the microwave and your morning meal is ready to inhale!

Amy’s Kitchen Breakfast Burrito
Nothing says weekend morning like a breakfast burrito. Amy’s Kitchen makes an all-vegan, Southwestern-inspired tofu scramble burrito that’s better than the diner fare of days past. The amys-burritoorganic flour tortilla wrap is stuffed with potatoes, tofu, black beans, vegetables and salsa — perfect to eat while veggin’ out on your off day.
