How do you talk to kids about veganism? How should parents navigate non-vegan social situations? I want my family to go vegan–what do I feed my picky eater? What special traditions do vegan families have? How do vegan kids think about being vegan and the reasons why?

These are questions that many families have about going vegan, and they’re all going to be answered in Compassion Over Killing’s brand new TryVeg Vegan Family Podcast! Featuring COK’s General Counsel Cheryl Leahy and Director of Marketing Eric C. Lindstrom, the Vegan Family Podcast celebrates vegan living and explores the whys, wheres, and hows of raising a vegan family.

As COK staff and vegan parents of vegan kids, Eric and Cheryl each have a wealth of knowledge around what it’s like raising vegan kids. Eric has even written a book about his family’s vegan path, and The Smart Parent’s Guide to Raising Vegan Kids (Skyhorse Publishing) is available wherever books are sold.

Both parents of young children, Cheryl and Eric offer their perspectives on living animal-product-free, and bring in tips, feedback, and questions from vegan families everywhere.

Check out our Vegan Family Podcast on TryVeg.com for tips, tricks, giveaways, adorable kid quotes, and to weigh in on the conversation yourself (please send any suggestions and questions for upcoming episodes to veganfamily@tryveg.com).
