Ingredients
  • 1 14-ounce package extra firm tofudrained
  • 2tablespoons vegetable oil or vegan buttertry Earth Balance
  • ½pound white button mushroomssliced
  • 1 bell pepperchopped
  • 1cup packedfresh spinach
  • 2 green onionsdiced
  • ½cup nutritional yeast
  • 1tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1teaspoon onion powder
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • ½teaspoon ground turmericfor color
  • ½teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat the oil or butter in a medium-sized frying pan over medium-high heat. Crumble the tofu into the pan and sauté, stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients. Lightly toss in the pan until well-cooked, about 5 more minutes.
  3. Adjust spices to taste and serve hot.
